COBKA Beginners Corner

Before each COBKA meeting we hold a "Beginners Corner" starting at 5:30. Club mentors monitor the discussions and we split into groups if the numbers allow. 

Are you thinking about getting bees or have less than a year of beekeeping experience? Our beginner's corner is a time in a small informal group situation for you to ask any questions, share what is going on in your hives, or to prepare for the next season ahead.  Please feel free to join us in a relaxed and open setting.

Not a true beginner but want to come and visit about bees before the general meeting begins? Please join us in the main meeting room at 5:30!

    We are planning a 2-hour field session prior to the club meeting. Please register to show your interest in attending and we will make sure to notify you on updates as they become available. You do not need to commit to attending to register for updates on this field session.

    Dr. Dewey M. Caron is an Emeritus Professor of Entomology & Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware, as well as an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University. His illustrious career spans over four decades, during which he has made significant contributions to the field of apiculture.
