I was wondering whether anyone else has found that their queens stop laying for a few weeks after the hive has been moved. I'm finding one out of every two or three hives, after they've been moved, they seem queenless ( can't find queen, first no eggs, then no uncapped brood) When I'm ready to add a replacement queen (two weeks or so later), I discover that the brood chamber has restarted with single centered eggs and small larvae). There weren't any queen cells either current or past in any of the hives.
