Volunteer with the Central Oregon Beekeepers

Beekeeping is sweeter together, and we rely on volunteers like you!

We host special events throughout the year, like field days & community demos. Help us set up tables, greet guests, run raffle tables, sample honey, or guide kids through hands-on activities. We've also included opportunities to volunteer with our affiliates.

COBKA Annual Beginners' Beekeeping Course Volunteers

Every spring, we offer our popular Beginner's Beekeeping Course for new and aspiring beekeepers. Volunteers help with check-in, classroom setup, AV support, and welcoming beginners. It’s a great way to connect with the next generation of beekeepers while brushing up your own skills.

Interested in Getting More Involved?

General Volunteers

We’re always grateful for support at meetings, events, classes, and community outreach activities. Volunteering is a great way to get to know fellow members, share your skills, and stay connected with what’s happening in the club. Let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll reach out as opportunities arise.

Club Leadership

Do you enjoy organizing, supporting others, and have interest in helping guide the direction of the club? We're always happy to connect with members who are curious about future leadership roles
