Varroa Mite Monitoring & Treatment Options
This workshop is recommended for beekeepers who have at least one year experience or are participants in the Oregon Master Beekeeping Program.
Please bring your hat/veil, gloves and water, and sticky boards from your own hives (48 to 72 hours exposure would be best).
Agenda for the day includes:
-Mite monitoring tools and treatment options
-Hands on work with colonies
-Information about the Oregon Master Beekeeper Program
-Identifying and counting mites on sticky boards
