Beekeeper's Buzz: Unmasking Pesticides
Join us for our June meeting where we will welcome Joe Spampinato to talk with us about the impact of pesticides on bees and hobby beekeepers. Pesticides are widely used in agriculture and gardening, and they can also harm bees and other pollinators. Nevertheless, there are precautions and actions we can take to protect our bees. In this meeting, we will discuss: - The types and effects of pesticides on bees and beekeeping - The best practices and alternatives for reducing pesticide exposure and improving bee health
This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in an opportunity to learn and network with fellow bee enthusiasts.
