Our 2024 COBKA Photography Contest is buzzing with excitement—and a bit of good-natured hilarity! This year, we’re diving into the world of “Beekeeping Bloopers.” Whether it's bees photobombing your selfies, an unexpected honey mishap, or maybe a worker bee taking a wrong turn and ending up in a pollen pile-up - We’re here for all the hilarious hive hijinks!

Share your blooper-filled photos with us for a chance to win a prize, get featured on our website (and maybe become a cautionary tale), and enjoy some well-deserved recognition for embracing the “oops!” moments in your beekeeping journey.

2024 COBKA Beekeeping Bloopers Contest Rules

• Contestants are limited to two entries.
• Entries must be original photographs snapped by the contestant.
• Each entry should highlight a beekeeping-related mishap, laugh, or blooper.
• Entries must be saved in a high-definition format (so we can zoom in and appreciate every detail of your bee-tastrophes).
• Anyone involved in collecting or evaluating the photographs is not allowed to enter the contest.
• We may use photo entries in Central Oregon Beekeepers’ media (with proper credit given to the photographer, and maybe a note to not try this at home).
• Entries must be submitted via email to photography@cobeekeeping.org by midnight on November 5th. Make sure to include your name you would like to be credited as.

1st place = $75

2nd place = $25

3rd place = 1-year COBKA membership

Winners will be announced and recognized at the November COBKA meeting.
