Bees & Brews: New Beekeeper Q&A + Social at Crux

This is a relaxed, beginner- and seasoned-beekeeper-friendly COBKA social evening designed to support new beekeepers as we head into the 2026 season.

If you’re taking our Beginners’ Beekeeping Course-or thinking about getting started-this is a great chance to:

• Connect with other beekeepers

• Ask questions in an informal Q&A setting

• Meet experienced beekeepers, club members, and volunteers

• Enjoy a fun winter gathering and sweet conversation

PLEASE NOTE: This event is a special one-time social evening in place of our regular February monthly meeting. COBKA’s standard third-Tuesday meetings will return to our usual location in March.

Bees & Brews was a COBKA tradition pre-COVID, and we’re excited to bring it back. If members enjoy it, we’d like to offer more casual socials like this in the future-so come join us and let us know what you think!

BEGINNER AND Experienced Beekeepers Welcome

Experienced beekeepers are especially encouraged to attend. Your sweet skills and ideas are appreciated by new beekeepers! And whether you’re just starting out or have kept bees for years, this is a great chance to gather, learn, and perhaps even do a little interpretive waggle dancing.
