Have you had a colony die this fall?  Would you like to know why it died? As a learning opportunity for you and our students, beginning in January during our OSU Master Beekeeping classes we will offer CSI's (Crime Scene Investigations) to uncover the cause(s) of colony deaths. Your job will be to protect the crime scene (undisturbed, dismantled, etc.) and transport the hive to one of our Saturday morning classes for a post mortem and suggestions for preventing future losses.  For more information call me at 541-549-0998.
